I was educated and trained as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, obtaining my Master’s Degree at Adelphi University. I started my career in 1998 in local community mental health clinics primarily servicing an underprivileged and disadvantaged population. I went on to develop my first private practice on the East End of Long Island. I am now practicing virtual telehealth and am licensed to practice in: CO, CT, FL, ILL, IN, NJ and NY. I have worked with a wide variety of clientele as well as received advanced training for those with food issues and eating disorders. For the past 10 years, a primary focus has been on working with those who are deciding to remain or leave a romantic partnership. I remain passionate about my ongoing commitment to expanding my expertise. Most recently, I have been recognized by APSATS ( Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists) as a CCPS: Certified Clinical Partner Specialist for those struggling with Betrayal trauma. Additionally, I am currently credentialed as a CSAT-C: Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Candidate by IITAP ( International Institute for Trauma & Addictions Professionals. NOW (Winter/Spring ‘25) accepting inquiries for a Betrayed Partner support group for those who have chosen to leave the ruptured relationship.
